They are great foragers.
They are very good at mothering large clutches of ducklings.
meat is low in fat and delicious.
I give them a little soaked scratch in evening to keep them around and make it easier to catch when needed.
Fun to watch, they catch the bugs in yard and garden.
And they don’t quack so less noisy than the Mallard breeds.
