This will include management and maintenance of the associated Documents and their controls, Audits program, Corrective action program, change management, and management review activities.
This will also include management and maintenance of the Howmet Business systems “HBS” which include 5S activities, Facilitating Kaizens, TPM and AMs activities, problem solving, and OEE improvements.
The candidate will also train new hires on both Quality and HBS.
The candidate will work closely with all members of the leadership team and hourly associates.
In addition, this individual will be a key member of the HSS quality leadership team and assure strong connection of Martinsville operations across Ti-Mill facilities, particularly with Niles & Canton.
Responsibilities: Providing project updates Maintaining metrics Drafting and maintaining documentation Overseeing equipment calibrations Manage and conducts internal audits, document results, implement improvements, and takes actions to correct nonconformance’s.
Maintaining the timelines of the corrective action system Lead cross functional quality and process improvement initiatives.
Conducting a quarterly review of the management system Reporting status of the QMS and HBS to the representative business unit leaders Conducting monthly safety audits Other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Management or equivalent work experience and certifications.
Deep working knowledge of the quality assurance and business processes.
Working knowledge of computers, MS Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP, and ETQ Deep working knowledge of the AS9100 standard Working experience with facilitating teams Knowledge of Lean and Smart (Industry 4.
0) manufacturing Basic Qualifications: Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in written format.
Able to identify project constraints, resolve constraints, and manage the critical path.
Able to construct standard work instruction that clearly communicate the process.
Able to construct data in a way that conveys information such that it is useful in decision making.
Able to multi-task.
Able to work in a team environment.
Able to communicate to all levels of the organization.
Able to create and make presentations.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications: AS9100 Lead Auditor Trained ASQ Quality Certifications, Auditor, Engineer, Manager of Quality, etc.
