Responsibilities:
1.
Concept Design and Build
Ensure the performance of the IT environments against the defined practices and policies at the site or sites.
This includes oversight of the deployment of the Global IT PGs at the site, such as tooling, network, data, processes and usage by stakeholders.
This will require coordination and management of stakeholders from across the Global IT PGs, the local IT teams and the 3rd party vendors who are providing services to make sure the services are meeting the needs of the sites, and where they are not meeting the needs work with the teams and vendor to address this.
2.
Inventory Management
The capture and management of assets within inventory management at the site(s).
Including infrastructure, IT/OT Assets, and business IT environments.
Starting with identifying the needs / requirements from stakeholders, designing the approach, and delivering training to teams where required around inventory management best practices.
Once stood up, will then oversee the effective use of the inventory management approach.
This may include updating inventory management themselves but primarily through coordinating the completion of inventory management activities by other teams at the site.
3.
Issue Resolution
Resolving issues for the BU, focusing on strategic issues and overseeing resolution of the day-to-day tactical issues (unless they become high severity).
Their responsibility is not ticket creation, but they may be involved in resolving high-severity tickets which have been raised.
Strategic issues likely to include improving reliable performance of IT OT, understanding and managing gaps in compliance, and supporting on the resolution of major outages.
This issue resolution should also include vendor related issues, and internal IT Product Group issues.
Issues will also resolve responsibility for supporting security and compliance resolve gaps in the factory.
4.
Project Management
The Site IT Manager will deliver some of their work through targeted projects.
These projects may include work efforts to address more complex issues which cannot be resolved in short efforts, or more strategic opportunities to optimize.
5.
Team Coordination
The Site IT Manager will be responsible for working with other stakeholders at the site(s) and within HE IT.
This primarily includes local IT teams and Global PGs, but may also include BU and Hub leadership.
Role may include managing IT/OT onsite factory resources or external contractors to execute tasks.
6.
Governance
Introduces and manages targeted governance forums with key stakeholders to provide ongoing communications as well as project or issue specific communications.
This should include governance participation with other IT/OT Site Manager from across the BU.
Supports cyber security monitoring and execution of factory tasks including patch management, vulnerability management.
Qualifications:
Experience in Shared Services IT and Business / Local IT is required, ideally including experience working in Factory IT either as Regional IT Leader or Site-Specific IT Leader.
Typically requires minimum 10 years of experience across these areas.
Strong understanding of both IT and OT systems and technologies, including hardware, software, networking, and industrial control systems.
They should be able to analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise with these systems and have the technical expertise to implement solutions.
Good leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate staff (direct and virtual), and maintain alignment with business strategy and business stakeholders.
Sufficient business acumen, including industry and process knowledge of the organization and its business units.
Needs to be able to understand the commercial drivers of an organization and translate between these business needs and OT / IT needs.
Good analytical, conceptual, strategic planning, influencing, negotiations and execution skills.
Stakeholder management will be a key part of this role.
Outstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills, proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
Hands-on approach to work, strong sense of ownership and accountability
Fluent in English (spoken and written), additional languages are a valued asset.
