ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Social Media Management: Assist in managing and growing our social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
This includes creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, newsletters, website copy, and promotional materials.
Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for growth.
Compile findings into reports and presentations to inform marketing strategies.
Campaign Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, digital advertising, and events.
Assist with scheduling, logistics, and tracking campaign performance.
Graphic Design Assistance: Provide graphic design support by creating visuals for social media posts, presentations, and marketing materials using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing marketing data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
Help identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
Leads an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
***Must be 21 years of age or older***
Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to generate innovative marketing ideas.
Proficiency in social media platforms and a basic understanding of social media analytics.
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Enthusiasm for learning and a positive attitude towards taking on new challenges.
Must be able to obtain a required VA Gaming License.

Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, from property to property.
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts.
Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
Duration and Compensation:
This internship position is for the summer semester with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
Compensation may be provided based on the organization's policies and budget for internships.
