We are looking to expand our production staff in our Finishing/Testing department.
No previous experience is required! We do all our own training in-house.
To excel in this role, you should be dependable, hardworking and take pride in your work.
The successful candidate would be a team player and have outstanding attention to detail.
\*Advertised estimated starting salary range depicts a 40-hour work week.
We are currently working a 54-hour work week.
Pay based on experience and work performance.
*Responsibilities*
• Use of grinders, sanders, and other power tools to remove weld spatter, scale, burrs, and excess metal build up from welded product to smooth out surface and meet final finish specifications.
• Clean and inspect equipment.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on equipment
• Ensure duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Clean, organize and maintain the shop and shop equipment.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
• Willingness to learn

· Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

· Some mechanical experience preferred
· Comfortable in a confined space setting
· Ability to perform physical requirements of the position; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
