Position Summary:
Upholstery Associate I will apply fabric and foam to seating and lounge furniture for the Healthcare, Worship and Education Markets.
• Apply fabric and foam to chairs, pews, kneelers, seats and backs
• Stapling upholstery products
• Stuffing upholstery product
• Operate spray guns to apply adhesive
Position Requirements:
• Must be detail oriented
• Regular lifting and maneuvering and positioning of product up to 40 lbs
• Operate various upholstery machines

Presses, stretchers, staple gun, screw guns, and power sheers
• Operate hand held pneumatic staple guns
• Requires reaching, pulling and stretching of fabric.
• Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting
• Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal
• Able to assist in training employees
• 5-S audits and daily cleaning
• Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience and Knowledge Required:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
• Previous Upholstery Experience preferred
