An opportunity currently exists for an experienced *Project Engineer* for the *Phillpott Dam Landslide Remediation *project in *Bassett, Virginia*.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established organization that has spent over forty-five years providing military grade management to projects nationwide.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for: · Monitoring work performed by subcontractors and suppliers for compliance with the drawings and specifications.
· Performing review of submittals.
· Assisting in the preparation of the Contractor Quality Control Daily Reports.
· Reviewing Requests for Information (“RFI”) from subcontractors and suppliers, and prepare RFIs for review by the Quality Control Manager and submission to the client.
· Assisting in the verification of completion of construction deficiencies.
· Assisting the Quality Control Manager in the project close-out.
· Performing research, including detailed review of reference standards and other sources, to provide recommendations for resolution of project issues.
*The successful candidate must be an engineer or construction management graduate with two (2) years of experience or an individual with five (5) years of ground-up construction experience inspecting various features of work including civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural.
